For hikers and cross country skiers, direct access to Awosting Reserve (and Minnewaska State Park) is just 1.5 miles away.
The space
Our home is a rare find for families and friends to gather. Centrally located to all the local attractions, and only a short 15 minute drive to New Paltz and all the eateries our area has to offer. Or you may want to just sit back and enjoy the stunning pond and 13 private acres that surrounds this home. Our hiking trail is an all season trail so if you want to bring your hiking boots, skies or snow shoes and explore nature without leaving the property, then this home is for you. We have a large yard for family gatherings. A large outdoor stone patio overlooking the pond that is within 200 feet of the house, screened in back porch with plenty of seating, so you don't have to worry about rainy days. After your day of adventure sit back and enjoy the nights in front of the fireplace. The home has window air conditioners which are located in two of the bedrooms and in the dining room.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home and 13 acres of exploring nature without leaving the property. This is an all season home with lots to do and explore. The pond is a tranquil feature. Fishing is allowed however there is no wading or swimming.
Other things to note
During the winter months do not go onto the pond if not completely frozen. If you are unsure do not test the pond as this could be unsafe.
