Positive: beach, pools, room, service met my expectations for a luxury 5 star restort. Highly recommend it if you want a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

Negative: The one major drawback is it's remoteness. The hotel is located in a nature reserve. It's a ten minute drive to the main gate. If you haven't rented a car which you don't want to do because the roads are awful, you are going to pay lots just to get in and out the place by cab. Really hard to recommend W Conchal if you are looking to explore the area, visit nearby towns or eat out. If you are there for a week, add $400 US for transportation to and from nearby towns and at least 60 to 90 minutes (to and from) every time you venture out. W has you hostage for your stay and their food is hotel resort average and expensive.

Summary: Loved the amenities, hate its remote location.
