Home was recently lovingly restored from top to bottom. Yet all with an eye for keeping the historical and Nordic charm of the original structure and its builders. Relaxing water views, comfortable surroundings, 4 bedrooms (incl primary with en-suite bath on main floor) comfortably accommodate eight guests. (2 Kings, 1 Queen, 2 XL Twins.) Fully appointed kitchen (plus propane grill and picnic table) for cooking and entertaining. The Viking House is confirmed to be the second oldest of the very few, still standing original homes in 'Paulsbo,' as it was known at the time of it's construction. This unique home was solidly built in 1890 of old growth Northwest timber by the hands and hammers of hardworking Norwegian farmers who came West from Minnesota. The house sits up high and proud on a knoll at the North end of Front Street, like a sentinel welcoming all who enter the charming historic district of Poulsbo. Originally built long before electricity or indoor plumbing, and many years overdue for a remodel, the Viking House was completely updated and renewed from top to bottom in a year-long extensive renovation that was watched with excitement by the Poulsbo Historic Society and the entire Poulsbo community.

Summary: Beautiful house with everything you need and in a great location walking distance to everything, a very enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend it.
