PLEASE NOTE NOT AVAIL AUGUST 2024 Laid back, light, airy, old-fashioned country house with pool. Nice open yard, easy bike ride to the Heights and Sunset Beach. Three bedrooms, one king size, two full size, plus fold out sofa. It has a country kitchen with everything you need. The den has a television, DVD, cable, netflix, roku. This is a great retreat. Of course there's Wi-Fi.

Summary: We loved this beautiful farm house. Went for Christmas and had a wonderful week. I could see the pool out back and am planning a summer visit very soon. The house welcomes you in, we immediately felt at home. Its very open and spacious yet full of inviting corners to gather in. Coffee around the kitchen table looking out to woods and wildlife was fantastic. Everyday we walked to town, passing the pond and entering the Heights. The home owner was a doll, she made sure we could find everything and answered any questions we had promptly. Shelter Island is magical and this house shares the islands old fashioned charm and warmth. I can not recomend it highly enough, truly paradise.
