Welcome to Sanctuary Farm. Our farm is the picture postcard of a beautiful, peaceful setting, that we love to share with people. Enter the private gated entrance and enjoy the serenity of a quiet paradise. You can sit on the front porch swing and leave the fast-paced world behind by being still and listening to nature or take a short 8-mile drive into historic downtown Franklin or just 4 miles into the Leipers Fork Village. There are many rescued and retired horses grazing in the fields and love to have carrots.
We enjoy gardening so you will see a beautiful garden in between the cabin and the main house. The cabin was built in 1806 and is the original Carter House Cabin. There is also an outdoor kitchen herb garden that you may help yourself with. We have many bird feeders so the beautiful birds of Tennessee with be just outside your window. You will be surrounded by old Pine and Oak trees and the sounds of owls echoing through the Hollow. We also have a grand piano in the sunroom room for anyone wanting to wake up their creative side.
Our kitchen is also a perfect place to cook and hang out in. To make the setting complete, we also have a wood-burning fireplace in the great room.
We know you will love our little piece of heaven as much as we do. For your safety, 4 outside surveillance devices around the perimeter of the house are used for security purposes. We look forward to meeting you!
