BR 1: King bed. BR 2 has two bunk beds, each has a lower Full and an upper Twin.
1st floor multi-use room can serve as an office, play room, or additional sleeping. There are beds for 8, but the space can sleep as many as 12
Bathroom 1 is modern remodeled with a shower/tub! 2nd bathroom has a shower stall and is accessed from the side yard.
Private, gated community, in the mountains surrounding Ramona. Extremely quiet and remote. We are located in high-desert wilderness about 12 minutes from Main St. There are wild animals around such as coyotes, mule deer, rattle snakes, etc. Though the ALL tend to stay FAR away from people, curious pets could potentially get themselves in trouble. Please keep them on a leash when outside of the house or fenced yards. Although the area is well lit at night, we have provided flashlights and recommend using them at night to ward off any critters ;)
Roads are paved the entire way, but please use caution and drive slow as the roads do narrow and there is exposure to steep edges. Winter time fog can also effect visibility. Please use caution if it is raining or foggy!
We use well water, please be water conscious!
Checkout Steps: Please wash all dishes and place them back in their homes or load and run dishwasher and our cleaning crew will put them away. Please take all trash / recycling out to the appropriate bins in the carport at the bottom of the porch steps. Please strip all beds that were used, and placed all sheets and used towels in a pile in the garage.
Second bathroom: The second full bathroom can be accessed via the fenced side yard. It is detached from the interior unit, and only accessible via the white door on the side of the building. The bathroom includes shower, toilet, sink.
Electric vehicles should only be charged during the day time as the house is on solar. If electric vehicles are charged at night and it exceeds the solar, tenants will be charged additional electrical charges retroactively on top of Airbnb fees for the rental.
Directions: GPS via Google/Apple Maps etc. should get you here just fine. The one thing that seems to trip people up is that its easy to miss the turn on to Swan Rd. from Old Julian highway. There is a BLACK STEEL community gate at Swan Road intersection that is usually left open. (If you have pulled up to a WHITE steel gate, you have gone too far and are likely at Cinnamon Rock Rd.) Continue to follow the GPS directions from there until you see a Y in the road with another black steel gate on the left. There is a keypad to open the gate. The code is 2008-ENTER. It takes a moment to open, but if you are having issues, press the RING doorbell. Please mind the No Parking signs. You can either enter the house via the door on the North side of the garage or by taking the exterior steps next to the carport up to the deck and around to the main door. We leave the doors unlocked and the keys on the coat hook. You are welcome to lock the doors as you come and go.
