The 1st floor hallway leads gracefully to a formal dining room with original built in cabinetry and working fireplace. A large round country table can seat up to 10 people with vintage 1940's French Bridge chairs that carry the warm patina of meals well served. The Living Room is styled with a sofa and arm chairs and vintage French and English fabrics are used throughout the home. A working fireplace centers the room where light drizzles in perfectly throughout the day. The den/media room has original circa 1804 wide plank pine floors, a large smart TV with Sonos sound bar. Unobstructed garden views are seen from the open kitchen's bay windows where a French Farm table from the 1800's is placed, surrounded by 10 Tolix French Industrial chairs. A functional marble topped center island anchors the room. Double door stainless fridge, Wolf Stove, Miele dishwasher and a pantry are some of the kitchen perks. The 2nd floor has circa 1750 pine floors and 3 ensuite bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a King bed. The Farm Guest Room (with farm views) has a circa 1800's Queen sized Spindle Bed. And the 'West Room' has a Queen bed and the ensuite bathroom also has a tub. There is a bonus room with 2 twin beds on the 3rd floor with a cheery area available to be used an office. Exterior features include a heated pool with 4 teak cushioned lounge chairs and a fabulous pool hut featured in the Style section of The New York Times. There is a large 30' X 20' barn on the property with gym equipment. It has an Olympic Barr Bench with weight and dumbbells. Plenty of room to bring your own gym equipment into. The best aspect of the house is the wraparound outdoor porch with a cozy seating area, outdoor dining and a BBQ.
