Summary: The room itself was spectacular—spacious, well‑equipped, and extremely comfortable. Having two bathrooms, three beds plus a sofa bed, in‑room laundry, and a full kitchen with a large fridge made the stay really convenient. The hotel is gorgeous overall, even though a few amenities were temporarily out of service (like the boat service and some vending machines). Since I booked an oceanfront suite, the view was a big part of why I chose this room. For the first few days, though, the ocean view was mostly blocked by crews setting up a large convention, along with the noise that came with it. On top of that, guests below the suite were smoking cigarettes and cigars, and the smell drifted into the room, which was unpleasant. I wish there had been some advance notice about the convention setup, since it affected both the view and the overall experience. If I had known the oceanfront view would be obstructed, I would have chosen a different room type.
