Located just 1 mile directly East of East Hampton Village, 1 mile directly west from the Harbor and 5 minutes to ocean beaches, is this lovely three bedroom (plus a 4th bed lofted inside one of the bedrooms) / 2.5 bath (2 full bathrooms + outdoor shower) recently renovated farmhouse. The house is accessible via a flag lot and features a sprawling backyard/pool/fire pit area with designer finishes throughout the interiors of the home. Bordered by a small conservation area, the backyard provides great privacy and “zen” while offering easy access to some of the East End’s most sought destinations. Walk to Round Swamp farm (2 minute walk), drive to Nic & Toni’s (2 minute drive) or take a drive/walk into East Hampton Village. The sleeping arrangements in the house (single story) include a master bedroom with a walkout deck overlooking the backyard and two additional guest bedrooms. Other notable amenities include:

Summary: This is a nicely decorated and very comfortable cottage. It has a big backyard and a pool where my 8 year old son had great time playing. If you are planning to cook you might want to bring your own pots/pan as the kitchen wasn't that well equipped except some old pans and le creuset pots which I didn't feel comfortable using. The only negative experience we had was related to the heated pool. When we arrived the pool was dirty, the filter and the heat weren't working. The owner left a note saying that the pool was going to be serviced on Mondays (we arrived on Sunday) and that the pool heat needed to be turned on manually. Upon requesting that we'd like to use the heated pool (we specifically rented this house because it had a heated pool. Our son is very sensitive to cold), the owner instructed the pool company to set up the heat for us. The servicemen did a great job cleaning the pool, and we were told that they set up the heat to go on and off automatically. They also adjusted the heat for the temperature we asked for. Two weeks after we returned from our vacation, we received an extra payment request for $400 from the owner claiming we exceed the pool heating and water, and the company had to service the pool. We were very surprised since the listing or the instructions left by the owner didn't not mention any fee or limit of usage for the heated pool. In fact, the pool heat was set up by the owner's pool company and she knew exactly how much heat/water we would use and she didn't not mention anything to us during our stay. VRBO customer service also told us that we are not obligated to pay for this extra fee since it wasn't mentioned before or during our stay.
