Nestled in the rolling Appalachian Mountains of East TN this lovingly appointed farmhouse offers great features for your next family getaway! Master bedroom with TV, bunk room with twin over full and a chaise lounge that converts to a bed. Bathroom with shower and tub. Washer/Dryer on premises. Full kitchen with everything you need to cook up your meals (except the food!). The living room has a sleeper sofa and a retro TV setup complete with a wonderful selection of vhs (that's right!) and dvds to please any age (literally hundreds of classics and film favorites to choose from--trust us, you won't even miss netflix), and a popcorn machine for your movie night. Coffee & tea bar, kids area with toys and games for the littles, and several nice books and games to kick back and relax into on your trip. Outside find a comfy seat on the big front porch or enjoy some quality time around the fire pit for excellent star-gazing or s'mores.
Located just a few minutes from Watauga Lake, Appalachian Trail, 30 min from Boone, Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Watauga Lake Winery, about 45 min from Mountain City and Johnson City in Tennessee. This property is lovingly cared for by local owners with a small organic homestead nearby. We love traveling and hosting guests.
