Unwind in our elegant modern farmhouse in wine country. Perfect location 7 min drive from Downtown Paso, but away from it all. Take a few min stroll to a popular winery tasting room on the west side! Enjoy luxury amenities like premium cotton towels and 400 thread count sheets. The spa-like bathroom has a massage jet shower, and towel warmers for that extra bit of cozy. Cook in our large eat-in kitchen; or grill with views of our newly planted vineyard and play some cornhole until the sun sets.
The space
Being in a prime west-side location; we are easily accessible to many world class vineyards in the Adelaide wine region. The farmhouse resides on a private acre that is fully enclosed by a fence/large masonry wall with a gate. Our home gets abundant, beautiful light throughout the day, and sets behind a huge storybook pepper tree. Enjoy the 75" flat screen television or partake in some board games. Each bedroom has luxury mattresses & premium linens. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials. The entire property has been thoughtfully designed in a sophisticated modern farmhouse style, and is full of photo worthy vignettes.
Guest access
A smart lock door code will be provided on the day of your arrival. 1 carport parking space, and parking for 2 additional vehicles on the side of the house. All of the home/property is behind a large masonry wall/fence with a gate. UBER AND LYFT do provide services to this area.
Other things to note
House is on SEPTIC:
So nothing in sinks and toilets except water (in sinks) and toilet paper (in the toilet).
Filtered Water: Good News! Our Kitchen is equipped with an R.O. Filtered water system. We suggest bringing your own store bought ice for your stay, or you may fill the freezer ice trays with RO water upon your arrival.
Sound Level: We love our neighbors and expect our guests to be respectful by controlling sound level. This is not a stay for bachelor/bachelorette parties or anything of that sort.
Gate: We have a large automatic entry gate for car access to the property. Please do not hit the gate with your car, try to open manually, or exit the property on foot through this auto gate or our other large AG gate. There is a pedestrian gate on premises if you want to exit the property wall and take a stroll.
Dirt Road:
The house is located in a rural neighborhood, full of vineyards and orchards with dirt road access. The road is maintained by the county, but there will be some dust while accessing the property.
Fireplace:
The house does have a fireplace, but it is off limits to guests, due to our insurance implications. We have an outdoor gas fire pit that you are welcome to enjoy.
Thermostat:
Paso is known for its hot summers and cold winters; this is what makes the grapes so good for wine! Take note that our NEST thermostat will be locked to a 72-77 degree median range for comfortable temp in all seasons. Please note you can also turn the NEST completely off if you happen to be too hot/cool in the house. We kindly ask that windows remain closed to keep the inside temperate during hot/cold days.
Propane Tank: there is a propane tank on site at the end of the property on the north/east side. Please do not tamper with this in any way, and stay clear with your car-- for your safety.
Vineyard:
Although you have a vineyard view, please note that it is newly planted. Please leave our baby vines be while they are growing up to be the mature *gorgeous* vineyard they will become! The home is at a higher elevation than the vines so it feels like you're floating above it! Also: If you happen to see a worker attending to our vines please excuse us as we are a real working vineyard!
Tree Swing:
Use at your own risk and caution. Please do not drink alcohol and use the swing. Intended for youth with adult supervision only.
Wildlife:
Our home is in a rural countryside. With this comes all sorts of potential critter encounters when enjoying our outdoor spaces. Please be aware of your surroundings as wildlife lives around the farmhouse.
