Summary: Wonderful stay at the English Merchant Inn From the moment we arrived, the English Merchant Inn exceeded every expectation. The historic charm of the building is beautifully maintained, yet every comfort feels modern and thoughtful. Our room was spotless, cozy, and full of character, with little touches that made it feel special. The innkeepers were warm and welcoming—always ready with helpful recommendations and a genuine smile. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. The location is ideal for exploring the area, but it’s also so peaceful that you can simply relax and soak in the atmosphere. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our next visit. I can’t recommend the English Merchant Inn highly enough for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, history, and hospitality.
