Enjoy this stunning new home centrally located in Daufuskie’s Historic District. With this two bedrooms two bathroom house, you will have plenty of space to make yourself at home! Ocean Dreamer is located just a short ride away from the Bloody Point Beach and all the businesses on the island.
This is lovely property! The Ocean Dreamer is beautifully decorated, fully equipped for the perfect family vacation, and in a location cannot be beat! Imagine waking up to an birds chirping and deer grazing in next to you has you sip your coffee on the beautiful screened in back porch!
There are two bedrooms each with a queen sized bed. One bedroom has a private bath. The other bedroom shares a bathroom with the rest of the house. The kitchen has a propane stove, oven, large refrigerator with ice maker, garbage disposal, toaster, Keurig and standard drip coffee maker, dishwasher, and a microwave. It is well-appointed with pots and pans, blender, and kitchen utensils. A full-size washer and dryer are located within the mudroom.
This unit comes stocked with starter supplies including; 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, trash bags, 3 dishwashing pods, dish soap, and 3 laundry pods.
All linens and bath towels are provided.
There is a propane grill for you to use as well!
Important Info about Getting Around Daufuskie Island
(This part is super important!) Daufuskie is a bridgeless island and you cannot bring your car. This means more planning and preparation on your part, but it’s also why Daufuskie is so undeveloped and special! Guests must arrive by ferry or water taxi and secure ground transportation from the arrival dock on Daufuskie to Sandy Lane Villas. (Information and help arranging the transportation will be provided to you and we are more than happy to assist you with any of these reservations!)
There is a small general store on the island for essentials, however, it is highly recommended that you bring food over with you or order grocery delivery. There are restaurants on the Island - Up in Smoke BBQ, Driftwood Diner, D’Fuskies Store and Eatery, Old Daufuskie Crab Company, Scoopasaurus Ice Cream and Treats, and School Grounds Coffee shop.

Ground transportation:
Once you arrive on Daufuskie Island, ground transit is required to transport you and your luggage from the ferry landing to the unit and from the unit back to the ferry landing upon checkout. Golf carts cannot be used to transport luggage. If you are traveling into Freeport Marina please contact Daufuskie Difference for land transportation.

The cost of ferry tickets, golf cart rental, grocery delivery, and ground transportation are separate fees and must be reserved by the guest.
House rules
• Check-in: After 4:00 PM | Checkout: 10:00 AM
• The unit will be self-check-in with a door keypad. Instructions will be emailed prior to your arrival.
• No parties or events
• Primary guest must be 25
• Please be curious of your neighbors after 9 p.m. while you are enjoying the porches
• No more than four adult occupants
We take great pride in our unit and seek guests who will too! We have good kitchen utensils, original artwork, and nice furniture. Please treat our home as you would your own.
