Located on the North Shore of Kauai, the Makai Club Cottages are gorgeous free-standing 2-Bedroom Cottages on the Makai Golf Course. With stunning mountain and Norfolk pine views, you’ll have easy access to Hanalei Bay within 5 minutes. The units are fully renovated and new from top to bottom.
Makai Club Resort is the perfect setting for a cozy romantic getaway or relaxing golf vacation. Located on a beautiful tropical hillside alongside the championship Makai Golf Course, Makai Club Resort has everything you need to make it your home away from home on Kauai.
Our cottages are more than twice the size of our condos, making them ideal for up to six guests or smaller parties that prefer more space. The cottages are just a short distance from the Makai Golf Course, and each one has a lanai.
Half of the 17 cottages have two bedrooms with internal stairs. The others have two bedrooms without internal stairs. There are also two handicap-accessible, ADA-compliant cottages.
All units are non-smoking and accessible by stairs only.

Since all Wyndham resorts use floating inventory, the units are not assigned to a guest until shortly before arrival. The photos in this listing are representative of the unit type as they are mostly uniform, but not necessarily the exact unit you will be in.
All our luxury resorts use a system called Allocate Upon Arrival which means the actual suite you will be assigned to is given upon check-in. These photos are a combination of all the different suites on site. Please note since we do not place you in an exact unit and this is done by the front desk staff, we cannot guarantee the requests, but will do our best to make sure they are accommodated. If your reservation is more than 4 nights you may be assigned to a new suite for housekeeping purposes. Keeping our suites up to luxury standards is our top priority.
The person checking in must be 21 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $250 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. Any damages will be charged upon check-out.
The name on the reservation must match the ID of the person checking in. It is the guest's responsibility to provide us with the name of the person who will be checking in, at the time of booking. There is a $99 fee if you need to change the name on the reservation. Even if another member of your party arrives first, they will not be able to check in before the person named on the reservation. If you do not provide us with the name you would like on the reservation, we will use the name and address that the reservation was booked under as the default. If another member of your party arrives before you, include their name in your message at the time of booking and will add their name instead of yours.
Guests may not have more than one reservation booked in their name for the same dates. If you have booked another unit for the same dates with another listing, you must make sure that the name on each reservation is different, or you will be in jeopardy of Wyndham canceling one of your reservations without notice. If you would like to book multiple units, please provide other names to put on the other reservations.
Please note by purchasing this listing you agree that there may be a chance for an 'Upgrade' to your unit for a larger unit that will fit the same amount of people. If this is the case, we will upgrade your room without question, free of charge. Therefore, depending on the length of your stay and unavailability of rooms, you may be upgraded to a larger suite during your stay with us and stay may be split into two different units depending on availability.

Auxiliary parking is available for guests, no charge, one vehicle permitted per reservation.

No pets allowed. Service animals trained to perform a certain task are permitted.

No smoking inside including electronic cigarettes, unless it's in a designated area.
*** Housekeeping Policy ***
Our updated housekeeping protocols for our resort operation teams are in place to minimize potential exposure to COVID-19 for our associates as well as owners and guests. These protocols include temporarily suspending housekeeping services while suites are occupied, including stay-over cleans for extended stays. Daily housekeeping is not included and may be added for an additional fee.

Wyndham has a maximum occupancy set for each room type. If these rules are not followed by guests, Wyndham may cancel the reservation.
