The area is surrounded by world-class museums, art galleries, casinos, wineries/breweries, live theatre & music, biking & walking trails (VA Capital Trail), premier top-notch golf courses (Kingsmill), & thrilling theme parks such as Busch Gardens who hosts Howl-O-Scream & Christmas Town. The resort is located right next to Water Country USA & the Colonial Parkway. It is only an hour from VA Beach & Richmond. Restaurants & unique shopping experiences are close to resort or there is a gift shop/store on site. You can book either just the 1 bedroom side (usually for a couple) that sleeps 4 because of the sofa couch & 1 bathroom with a jetted tub. Or you can book just the 2 bedroom side that has 1 king room & 1 room usually with twin beds. Both have rooms have full bathrooms. And 1 sofa bed in living room couch with a half bath. So 2 bedroom by itself sleeps 6. Or you can book both sides for a 3 bedroom cottage which sleeps 8-10. The units have separate doors but can’t be opened to combine units or shut for more privacy. Every accommodation includes plush pillow-top mattresses, private decks, in-suite washer & dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs (with DVD player in the living room & TVs in all bedrooms), & fully equipped kitchens with premium stainless steel appliances. Some units have jetted tubs, fireplaces, & wet bars. This resort has 3 outdoor pools each with hotubs, 1 indoor pool located in the Aquatic center which also has an indoor & outdoor hot tub.
