EZ access to ocean, protected reef. Beautiful lawn with huge trees, Tide pools. Truly one of the finer spots on any of the Islands.
Hilo Town is a very special place. Not touristy like Honolulu, Maui and such, a real old Hawaii charm. Right now lava is flowing into the ocean, a sight to behold. Lava tours can be had. You will come back again and again.
