It's a wonderful setting for your adventures across the Big Island, whether you're exploring the native arboretum at Kalopa State Recreation Area (three miles), visiting the farmers market in Honokaa village (less than four miles), or taking a memorable day trip to Waipi'o Black Sand Beach (13 miles).
As the sun rises over the island each morning, step outside with a mug of coffee to breathe in the fragrant air on the patio. Linger in a cushioned seat with a good book or the morning newspaper, or head back indoors to get started on breakfast in the kitchenette (with a refrigerator/freezer and cooktop, but no oven).
