We are now completing our latest renovation at Annabelle’s by installing new hardwood floors throughout the house. This adds to last year’s renovation of the kitchen, both baths, and painting the exterior of the home. Enjoy the custom cabinets, floor, counters, and professional Viking range in the kitchen. The baths also have custom cabinets, counters, and lighting. We have a Ring Doorbell for immediate contact with the owner if there is an issue.
We already have strong booking in 2023 and expect to have very limited availability for nights this year, so please book early if you want to visit Feb. - April.
You can look forward to relaxing on the wraparound porch overlooking the garden. Watch the birds at the fountain and enjoy the roses, lavender, apple, lemon, and lime trees when they’re in bloom, all just an hour from San Francisco.
Annabelle’s, one of a limited number of licensed vacation rentals (License #13715), is a charming, contemporary farmhouse with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a separate office that sleeps 4 on a private and quiet tree-lined cul-de-sac 1 block from the Sonoma town plaza. This home offers a true indoor/outdoor experience, designer furnishings and art, a gas-burning fireplace, and central air conditioning.
The primary bedroom and bath are large with a king-sized bed, 2 closets, and a safe. It is the entire second floor so two couples or families with children can have privacy. The primary bath has both a shower and a tub. The home also has 2 separate air conditioning/heating systems to allow you to cool or heat the floors separately.
There are comfortable mattresses and high-quality linens with TVs in both bedrooms and the living room. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and the bath has a deep soaking tub only, no shower. The kitchen has high-quality cookware, china, and all the spices you could want to prepare your meals.
The style of the home is a creative blend of contemporary and antique furnishings. Unique decorative items are designed by local artists, including sandblasted grapevine sculptures, paintings, and photography. The home is a fun and relaxed environment you’ll be proud to call your home away from home.
You can walk 1 block to The Girl & the Fig Restaurant, Eldorado Kitchen, Valley, Oso restaurants, Three Sticks, Walt, Auteur for wine tasting, or rent bikes and ride 1/2 block through the vineyards on the bike path. Picnic at the park across the street, go to the Farmer’s Market there on Fri. mornings and hike on the Overlook Trail just up the street. Books are available at the house with information on all the restaurants, and wineries we recommend. Layla Restaurant at MacArthur Park Hotel is good and Michael Mina's restaurant, Wit & Wisdom, is open only for dinner and is also very good.
With 30 tasting rooms, shops, restaurants, and spas around the plaza you won’t have to drive anywhere if you don’t choose to. You can live in a quiet location and still be close to all the action. Or, you can drive to nearby wineries, like Sojourn, Repris, and Scribe, go to Train Town or the Ropes Course for the kids, Jack London State Park for hiking, or hear music under the stars in the summer. There’s also movie theater at the square.
We do a deep cleaning after each guest and added a HEPA filtration system to the HV/AC system to clean and recirculate the air 100% every 2 hours. We also have a portable room air filtration system that can be moved where it’s needed. The owner & staff have been vaccinated and received all boosters.
