Summary: The property itself was very clean and really beautiful. We did have some incidents with a couple of the front gate employees that were really rude and actually yelled at my friend twice when entering the property. We complained to the front office who said they would address it with them. Other than that, the only other complaint is that once you leave the property, a couple of miles away, you are surrounded by countless homeless tents and camps that line the Makaha beach. It was not in the best part of town, the homelessness is out of control. Not what you would expect in Hawaii. With all of that said, the host was great, their apartment was very nice, just wish that the Makaha beach wasn't overrun with homeless camps. We had to drive a ways to get to a beach that didn't have them camping everywhere.
